A villa style Caribbean hideaway

Overlooking St. Martin's famous Orient Bay Beach, Esmeralda features luxurious villa-style accommodations.

The 65 rooms are spread out within 18 villas, each villa with its own private pool. All the rooms overlook a shadowed terrace, surrounded by the islands vegetation and flowers with their beautiful and brilliant colors. These hues agree with the pools turquoise water and the magic waves of the ocean.

The elegant setting and proximity of the ocean makes the Esmeralda Resort an ideal spot for beach lovers as well as those looking for a quiet atmosphere. Activities such as water skiing, scuba diving and parasailing are available on the beach at Orient Bay.

65 elegantly decorated rooms and suites

Esmeralda offers 18 elegant villa-style units comprised of 65 beautifully decorated rooms and suites. For more privacy, each villa has its own swimming pool and each accommodation has its own private entrance and terrace.

Each accommodation has a kitchenette (suites have fully equipped kitchens including dishwasher), large tile bath with hair dryer plus a 110 outlet for shavers only, color satellite TV (8 channels and video system), room safe, air conditioning with ceiling fan, daily maid service and nightly turn down service.

SUPERIOR, DELUXE & OCEANFRONT ROOMS

King or two double beds, kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven, electric coffee pot and small refrigerator (no stove burner). Accommodations include private entrance and private terrace. Superior rooms are located further from the beach. Deluxe rooms (top picture) are located nearer the beach. Oceanfront rooms are located nearest the beach.

SUPERIOR SUITES

Spacious living room and bedroom area with king size bed and full size pull-out sofa bed plus a fully equipped kitchen.

DELUXE ONE BEDROOM SUITES

Large dining and living room area with full size pull-out sofa bed, master bedroom with king size colonial bed, television in living room and master bedroom, radio/cassette/CD player and fully equipped kitchen.

PRESIDENTIAL SUITE

Large dining and living room area with full size pull-out sofa bed, master bedroom with king size colonial bed, television in living room and master bedroom, radio/cassette/CD player and fully equipped kitchen. Suite is oceanfront.

The ASTROLABE Restaurant specializing in delicious French Cuisine prepared by a wonderful French Chef.

On the Beach: the elegant COCO BEACH Bar and Restaurant. Guests of Esmeralda also enjoy signing privileges at 4 additional beachfront bar/restaurants. 

THE BEACH

On the white sand beach lapped by the turquoise blue water of the Caribbean sea, a variety of water sports and restaurants are available. Constantly caressed by soft ocean breezes, it is the ideal beach for lazing in the sun and water sports lovers: catamaran, wind surfing, kite surfing, jet ski, scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing.
